Working for Us

The West Midlands Violence Reduction Unit is looking for a number of community-based organisations that can deliver targeted resettlement and support services for adults and young people in Wolverhampton, Coventry and Birmingham. The organisations will work to identify and support gang members or others in the distinct areas who are associated with serious violence and criminality before resettling them in the community as, or after, they leave custody.

The service will provide support centred around the following key rehabilitation themes:

  • Sustainable accommodation
  • Education, Training and Employment
  • Family support and relationships
  • Attitude, behaviour and thinking
  • Health and well-being
  • Money management

The four specifications below represent 4 separate grants for service.

Organisations are permitted to apply for more than one, however you would have to complete a set of questions per specification, and we will only be awarding one grant per organisation.

Any organisation who applies must be able to commence delivery by 31st December.

Closing date for applications is midday, 22nd November 2019.

Applications should be submitted to vru@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk
